    "Way Of Lights" Walk

    Experience the tradition – bring your family and friends on this most unique volksmarch in the metro-east Illinois area as you walk among over one million miniature lights illuminating trees, figures, and displays that depict the true Christmas story. The Shrine campus is not open for public display during this event, so minimal traffic will interfere with your enlightening walk experience. Walkers will have a chance to win an Illinois Bicentennial pin.

    The Illinois Trekkers invite you to join them in a 5k/10k group walk. Note time change for registration  time. Registration  8:45 AM and start walking at 9:00 AM.
    5K walk normally takes about 1 hour.
    10K walk normally takes about 2 hours
