Bill Malina Memorial Walk

The Bill Malina Memorial Walk is in memory of Bill. Bill was the president of the Lebanon Cedar Cruisers; Bill did the New Baden Walk every year until his health prevented him from hosting the walk. The Illinois Trekkers invite walkers to walk this traditional walk in Bill’s memory.  The walk is a flat 10k trail that consists of two 5 k loops. The walk takes walkers through the town of New Baden past the town hall and a grain elevator, New Baden Milling Company that opened in 1890. Walkers will see many businesses and homes in a village that was founded in 1855
