Walkers are encouraged to sign up on the Stifel team (Geoffrey Bright-Trudy Duffman’s son). $25 donation at registration & you will receive team shirt (May not be available on walk day.) $100 donation will also receive a Komen shirt. Come out & support our club members who have beat the disease, family members, & friends. This year donations are critical!

Group Walk of A Walk in "Old Town" Glen Carbon YRE

5K walk normally takes about 1 hour. 10k walk normally takes 2 hours.In accordance to AVA guidelines you must wear a mask when registering & please maintain social distancing when walking.

Fall Foliage Traditional Event Walk hosted by the Gateway Milers
The Nature Institute2213 S Levis Ln, Godfrey, IL 62035, USAWelcome to The Nature Institute with 294 acres dedicated as an Illinois Nature Preserve. Spend the day above the bluffs overlooking Great River Rd just north of Alton, IL. Our walks take you through upland forest, hill prairies, and majestic views overlooking the Mississippi River. The trail consists of two 5ks marked with arrows and streamers. The wooded 5k takes you into the Olin Nature Preserve on trails used as a major entry point on the Underground Railroad. The second 5k takes you to the Mississippi Sanctuary lookout on the bluffs, through the Mississippi Sanctuary Trails, down to the Great River Rd. Join us for lunch after your walk at The Nature Institute.
