This is the annual Valley of the Flowers Festival Walk hosted by St. Louis Walkers. Games, rides, carnival food, a used book sale, antiques, tours of St. Ferdinand Shrine, classic car show, a parade, volunteers in period French costume who bake bread in a brick oven – all this and more can be enjoyed during the festival. All this, of course, is contingent on COVID restrictions in force at the time of the walk. The walk route goes through the classic car display and continues on through Old Florissant to see many French-style homes. Of course it passes the frozen custard stand.

Gazebo on right (north) side of Rue St. Francois, between N. St. Charles Street and the Old St. Ferdinand Shrine (#1 Rue St . Francois). GPS: 38.796832, -90.332952
