The Main Street 5k walk and the Cemetery 5k walk both pass the Miners Memorial. Marissa is a quiet little town where walkers may hear a roaster crow or a cow moo.

Walkers on the 5k Cemetery walk will see the Veterans Memorial in the Marissa Cemetery. Walkers can start between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. Walk at your own pace. Walkers must be finished by 3:00 pm. All walkers will have a chance to win an Illinois Bicentennial lapel pin.
